Sermon by Pastor Ayoola Jolayemi
Focus Text: 1 Timothy 6:12
The world is in a constant state of discontentment, there is always that desire for more more more!
You don’t need Christ to be wealthy, BUT you sure do need him to live a content life.
Being connected means being a part of something greater than yourself.
Why Are We Connected:
- The purpose of our connection is for Eternal Life (John 3:16). This is the most important reason we connected. We are connected for the security of our souls.
- For Communion-fellowship, fellowship is not church attendance (Psalm 133), it is the vital bond we build with God and with brethren. Fellowship is beyond walls.
- It provides an Environment for Growth. We need to build a system where we can grow. If you are connected to Christ you should grow, contentment comes with growth.
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
-Matthew 18: 20
“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren” -1 John 3:16
We must empower others not give hand-me-down but empower them to stand. Be connected genuinely.

My Twice have I heard:
What i heard twice is this: When Jesus said in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” He was not limiting it to the four walls of a church building. Hallelujah! So, each and every time I meet up with my godly friends Jesus is there meeting up with us.
So, what did you hear twice? What jumped out at you from the sermon?
