You cannot say you Love God without Loving his people…Part2

“All of a sudden I began to cry. No that was not a cry oh! it was more like i wailed…God had dealt me a blow below the belt. But in all of this i was grateful that God will take time out to explain things to me”

God places so much premium on us, the story line of the entire bible proves it. #LoveStory

The lessons God taught me that day changed my life.

Let me back up a bit. See I love anything administration, stationery because if you leave a pencil on a table today, you will meet it at the same spot, pencils do not talk back, get rude, or take offence. But we humans….Smiles, thank God for God Oh!

1. You cannot say you love me (God) and not love what I love most- God’s most prized creation is man, made in his image and after his likeness. The extension of God himself here on earth, and we choose to love the heavenly God but not his Children? how does that even apply?
2. Being Christ-Like goes beyond speaking like a christian, it is expressed in your Love walk towards people. Two scriptures

“Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world”.

-James 1:27NKJV

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.  And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing”.

-1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NKJV 

So Love, genuinely love and help people. Take care of people who do not have. 

3. Meet the needs of others and I (God) will meet yours- Live to give. give freely. Give motivated by Love.

4. Know that you cannot change anyone, last I checked, there is only one God. Your role is to LOVE people from WHERE they ARE to WHERE I (God) WANT them TO BE.

It is so easy to help people when you know that one way of the other, there is something in it for you. But God is demanding that we love genuinely and help people especially those who cannot pay us back. Solely motivated by God’s Love.
